OUR MISSION

Village Strategies creates spaces where young people can figure out who they are, build confidence in their own voice, and get support navigating the things that shape their everyday lives.

Through coaching, programs, and partnerships, we create opportunities for young people to be heard, try new things, make decisions, and grow on their own terms.

WHAT GUIDES OUR WORK

1. Start with the young person.
Listen first. Young people know more about themselves than we do.

2. Make room for real life.
School is only one part of what shapes a young person’s life.

3. Actually listen
If we ask young people what they think, their answers should matter.

4. Help make things happen.
Make connections, open doors, and help remove barriers when we can.

5. Build around the people in the room.
Programs should fit people, not the other way around.

MEET ERIN

Erin N. Lee
Founder + Principal Consultant

I founded Village Strategies in 2025 after years of working directly with young people, families, and communities. Those experiences shaped how I think about youth development and the role adults, programs, communities, and systems play in young people’s lives.

My work connects youth development, community engagement, and public policy. I’m interested in looking beyond behavior to understand what’s actually going on, what young people care about, what they want for themselves, and what the people and systems around them can do differently.

Village Strategies brings those pieces together through coaching, programs, partnerships, and consulting that center young people and create more space for them to explore their interests, build on their strengths, make connections, and have a real say in their lives.
